We primarily focus on small and middle market businesses that represent the grass roots of American greatness: manufacturing, distribution, and residential, commercial and industrial services.
Kirk Brunson is a seasoned business executive and advisor with more than 30 years of experience in strategy, M&A, business development, finance, and executive management. Early in his career, Kirk was a Director of Transaction Services with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he assisted private equity and strategic buyers in evaluating and executing M&A transactions. Later he led strategy and business development for companies including Overhead Door Corporation, Hewlett Packard and CROSSMARK. Prior to founding Arkaby Strategic Consulting, Kirk was president of Horton Pedestrian Access Solutions, a middle-market manufacturer of specialty doors with sixteen owned installation and service centers and more than 200 distribution customers. Through a combination of acquisitions, new product launches, sales initiatives, and operational improvements, Kirk led the Horton management team in revitalizing a premier but stagnating brand and re-establishing growth and profitability. Over the course of his career, Kirk has led teams in developing and executing many long-term strategic plans, annual business plans, growth initiatives, and more than one-hundred small and middle-market M&A transactions.
